Stephen has been a Chartered Surveyor for over 25 years, specialising in Residential property of all types, and before running his own business, was the Chief Surveyor and Property Director at a FTSE 350 Financial Services plc, and a top ten Building Society.

 

He has led teams of Surveyors across the UK, worked with the top 5 Residential valuation firms in the country, led the 'property security' due diligence for large mortgage portfolio transfers, and is a specialist Buy-to-Let and Audit Valuer.  He spent 5 years as Managing Director of a £100m UK wide Buy-to-let business, rebuilding the whole company and returning it to profit.

 

He is very keen to work 'with' his clients, and as an experienced management consultant, can offer a wide range of business consultancy services including Strategy formulation and delivery,  Change management, Reprocessing, new Business plans, Profit optimisation, New Ways of Working, and operating as a senior management mentor.

 

For his property clients, he is keen to ensure that they fully understand the risks and opportunities of any transaction, using his experience and background in construction methods, local markets, and the all important micro and macro location of the property.

A keen proponent of new building methods and a better house purchase system, he offers advice to a wide range of Institutions and private companies (including various Mortgage Lenders) on improving their systems, new products or business lines, and optimising profits.
